M+NLB

Naming, Strategy, Identity, Collateral, Website

With a nationwide team of diverse and established engineers and an emerging unit committed to progressive practice, M+NLB is one of the most influential firms in the industry today.

Naming

San Francisco-based consulting and engineering firm Mazzetti & Associates and Nashville-based Nash Lipsey Burch (NLB) announced that they would be merging to create one larger firm. It gave them a national presence and allowed them to further focus on climate change consulting as well as more technically oriented projects for healthcare, data centers, and clinical and research laboratories.

Identity

We used a simple yet strong bold typeface to communicate the strength and unity of the company. Both companies had previously used warmer colors (reds and maroons, respectively). So our aim was to cool down the color palette and go with a strong blue.

Collateral

Having finalized the identity, our next task was to design the many pieces fo collateral including stationery program, corporate folder and qualification pack covers and dividers. All of these items further define and extend the brand image.
