Specialty food producer Valley Produce Company (VPC) has taken Australia by storm. VPC approached SKAGGS to redesign five of its best-known products’ packages for its U.S. market launch.
Because VPC was virtually unknown in the U.S., SKAGGS developed a "handcrafted" logotype of the full company name — rather than leveraging the company’s initials — to brand the U.S. products. SKAGGS’ packages incorporate a vibrant, consistent family of colors that unifies the entire offering. These containers stand out on store shelves, yet have a dusty, warm feel that plays to the earthiness and "natural" feel of Australia. The packaging also incorporates subtle patterns influenced by Aboriginal artwork.
